Characteristics of the Debris Flow in Mozigou Valley near Jinyuan hydropower station

Basic conditions for the occurrence of debris flow in Mozigou valley near the Jinyuan hydropower station and its dynamic characteristics are presented. Prediction and evaluation are made on the development tendency and possible damage of the debris flow, which is considered to be of high occurrence frequency, great possibility of happening and medium damage. Possible influences of the debris flow on the Jinyuan hydropower station are analyzed and corresponding measures are proposed.
