摘要
对法塔亨特工程公司(FATA Hunter)新近开发的可逆式热轧机(安于美国橡树岭国家实验室)在试验过程中取得的成就与轧制生产线的构成作了较全面的介绍。这项试验由橡树岭国家实验室、法塔亨特公司、伊利可创镁业北美公司(Magnesium Elektron North America)共同实施,可实现镁合金薄带材的工业化生产,生产出有市场竞争力的、价格合理、可满足用户需要的镁及镁合金板带材。此生产线获得了美国2012年度100项创新优秀成就奖。
The paper described the new reversing hot rolling mill developed by FATA Hunter and located at UT-Battelle Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in the U. S. It presented the merits in the pilot trial and the mill configuration in all respects. The trial was carried out by ORNL, FATA Hunter and Magnesium Elektron North America for the purpose of realizing the indus- trialized production and producing the plate, strip and sheet of magnesium and magnesium alloys can meet the clients' expec- tations. This mill won an R&D 100 award in 2012.
