The paper expounds the factors influencing the reliability of computer network, and analyses the methods to improve the relia- bility of computer network. This method comprises a series of designed scheme, they are fault - tolerance design, double network struc- ture design, whole network system design and hierarchical layout design. Considering the period life of the whole network, we should strengthen the management and monitoring.
