生态社会主义的经济理论在20世纪90年代以前主张建立稳态经济以保护自然生态环境;20世纪90年代以后,生态社会主义认为经济应该适度增长以实现经济与生态的协调发展。现有研究对生态社会主义的经济理论进行了不同程度的探讨。总体来看,生态社会主义经济理论的转变与生态运动具有密切的联系,生态社会主义经济理论在不同国家的运用有助于实现国际环境公正,推动生态社会主义理论的创新发展比批判更有现实意义。

Before the 1990 s,the eco-socialism claim to establish steady economy to protect the natural ecological environment; Since the 1990 s, them agreed the economic should be moderate growth to realize coordinative development of economy and ecology. People have discussed on eco-socialism economic theories in varying degrees.Overall,the economic theory transformation of eco-so- cialism has a close relationship on ecological movement, the use of eco- socialism economic theory in different countries contribute to the international environmental justice,the significance promote the innovation and development of eco-socialism theory more than criticism.
