RFID technology has more merits than the traditional bar code, thus, university libraries begin to pay increasingly atten- tion to it. The main advantage of RFID technology is its convenience and rapidness. While applying RFID technology, university librar- ies need to keep a watchful eye on the issues of technical standards, cost and so on. RFID technology also has put forward new require- ments for university library management.
