国学作为优秀传统文化的凝聚,包涵了爱国主义情怀、自强厚德精神和团结统一追求等民族精神质素,为大学生民族精神的培育提供了资源和途径。开展国学教育,塑造青年一代的中华民族精神,应当处理好历史性与时代内涵的关系和知行关系,筑牢大学生的精神长城。

The study of ancient Chinese civilization or Sinology is a crystal of wisdom and excellent Chinese cultures which includes such national spirits and qualities as patriotism, self--reliance, high morality and solidarity as well as uni-fied pursuit. These spirits and qualities provide valuable resources and ways in cultivating college students＇ national spir- its. To popularize the education of traditional and ancient Chinese civilization and cultivate the youth＇s Chinese national spirits and strengthen the students＇ spiritual Great Wall, it is necessary to properly deal with the relationship between the history and the connotation of the times and the relationship between the knowledge and the practice.
