摘要
王宝童先生《英译三字经·千字文》在语篇翻译过程中,通过语法层面对人际意义潜势的选择,采用转换语气成分,即陈述语气转译为感叹语气、疑问语气和祈使语气;增添称呼语;对应、转换或活译第二人称代词等手段,赋予作者和译入语读者共同参与的交际事件以对话性质。同时,在协商与对话的过程中,重新奠定话语基调,构建出新的人际意义;在实现与源语篇人际功能等值的过程中诠释出译文的情感之美。
In rendering San Zi Jing · Qian Zi Wen or the Three-Character Classic ·the Thousand-Character Clas-sic, Wang Baotong adopted such mood conversion methods as rendering declarative moods into exclamative mood, interrogative mood, and imperative mood respectively; adding address forms; corresponding, transferring or adding second person pronouns while selecting interpersonal potential meanings at grammatical level, so that a dialogue-based nature is constructed between the writers and target-language readers. In the course of negotiation and dia- logue, the tenor of discourse is reset, so that new interpersonal meanings are constructed. Meanwhile, the beauty of artistic conception in translation is revealed and interpreted in realizing its equivalence of interpersonal function with original discourse.
