摘要
本文对研究硅酸盐玻璃分相时采用粉末制备电镜样品的方法作了探讨。该法制作样品简便,在需要大量测试的动力学研究中显出其优越性,且照片十分清晰,极适合于作精确尺寸的测定,同时还有利于反映试样的精细结构。电镜的衬度可以通过对粉末进行侵蚀得以提高,由侵蚀产生的测量误差则根据不同要求、采用不同侵蚀时间而得到控制。在电镜照片的处理上本文还给出了计算椭球形及圆球形分相颗粒分布及平均粒径的通用公式。
The use of powdered specimen in TEM technique for investigation of growth kinetics of second-phase droplets in silicate glass is reported. Powdered specimen can be prepared efficiently, especially for the study of growth kinetics of phase separated glass system which requires a large number of samples. It has been found that finestructure can be observed and the quantitative data of second-phase particles can be measured with clear TEM micrograph obtained from powdered specimen. Etching has been used to produce clear contrast, and errors so introduced can be controlled by changing the etching time. A model of quantitative analysis for determination of size distribution of ellipaoidal or spheroidal particles, on basis of the data measured from TEM micrographs, has been developed.
