This paper relates to the preparation of ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether with MTZ catalyst (an organic sulfonate) instead of BF 3·O(CH 2CH 3) 2. The effects of reaction conditions on product were also studied. The results indicated that MTZ catalytic systhesis of diglycidyl ether is available.
