摘要 素质教育是大学教育的基础,通识教育课程是实现素质教育的基本途径。西北大学依托综合性大学的文化积淀与学科优势,坚守课堂教学主阵地,坚持实施素质教育基础上的专业教育,在建设具有综合性大学校本特色的通识课程体系方面进行了积极的探索与实践,为培养基础扎实、知识面宽、具有创新意识和创新能力的高素质人才奠定了基础。 Quality - oriented education is the foundation of university education, and general education curriculum is the basic way to achieve quality -oriented education. Northwest University relies on the culture accumulation and discipline superiority of comprehensive university, sticks to classroom teaching, and insists on the professional education based on implementing quality - orientated education. University has carried out a active exploration and practice in constructing general education curriculum system with the characteristics of comprehensive university, which lay a foundation to cultivate high - quality students with good foundation, wide knowledge, and innovative awareness and ability.
