Study on Transformation of Bonded Port Areas into Free Trade Zones in China: In the Case of Guangzhou Nansha Bonded Port Area

在比较保税港区与自由贸易区的基础上,分析了我国主要保税港区向自由贸易区转型的实践与启示,并根据中国(上海)自由贸易试验区总体方案,以广州南沙保税港区为例,阐述了其向自由贸易区转型的可行性,并提出了转型的路径,旨在为广州南沙保税港区等海关特殊监管区域向自由贸易区发展提供参考。

In this paper, on the basis of a comparison of the bonded port zone and the free trade zone, we analyzed the practice and enlightenment of the transformation of the major bonded port areas into free trade zones in China. Then in the light of the general plan for the construction of the Shanghai Free Trade Experimental Zone of China and with the Guangzhou Nansha Bonded Port Area as the example, discussed the feasibility of the transformation of the free trade zone and presented some possible paths.
