劳伦斯的阶级出身是他始终对底层劳动阶级怀有深深同情的根源,他在作品里揭示资产阶级对工人的剥削,体现了他的无产阶级阶级倾向,他的作品虽然呈现出无产阶级文学的色彩,但由于他本人思想的局限性,最终也称不上是一个无产阶级的作家。

Lawrence＇s class origin is the root of his deep sympathy for the underlying working class. His reve- lation of the bourgeoisie＇ s exploitation of the workers in his works reflects his hatred to the bourgeoisie and tendencies for the proletariat class. Despite the proletariat color in his works, due to limitations of his thought, he is not regarded as a proletarian writer.
