台湾国语的助动词“会”

台湾和大陆在助动词"会"的使用上呈现出同中有异的特点。台湾国语和大陆普通话的助动词"会"在语义类型上基本相同,但在使用上却有明显差别。台湾助动词"会"的使用频率很高,其中表示事件发生可能性的用法又占了绝大多数,部分用法语义已经虚化,具体使用方面也有一些不同于普通话的独特之处,这主要是受到闽南语影响的结果。

Taiwan and the mainland differ in the auxiliary verb hui in pragmatic use despite their se- mantic similarities. In Taiwan Mandarin, the hui is frequently used to largely express possibility without any substantial grammatical implications. This is due to the influences of the southern dialect of Fujian.
