An Analysis of the Ding Ling's Freedom in Discourse of Creation in Her Later Years

1985年4月,新华社《国内动态清样》刊登了《丁玲同志在西安谈文艺创作自由等问题》,归纳了丁玲对于作家如何理解"创作自由"等文艺界敏感问题的看法。丁玲的这次讲话出现了两个版本,反映了两个丁玲:一个是官方需要的丁玲,一个是复杂的丁玲本体。

In April 1985, the column The Internal Dynamic Foundry Proof sponsored by the Xinhua News Agency published Ding Ling＇s paper Comrade Ding Ling＇s speech on such issues as freedom of cre- ation in Xian, which summarized her opinions as a sensitive writer on how to understand ＂freedom of cre- ation＂ correctly. Ding Ling＇s speech appeared in two versions later, which reflects the two faces of Ding Ling ： one is for catering to official＇s needs, one is just the original Ding Ling with complexity.
