Study on the Artistic Feature of Decorative Pattern of Traditional Dwellings in Jiangnan: A Case Study of Suzhou,Wuxi,Changzhou

江南传统民居装饰图案取材丰富多彩,应用在民居中各个部分,有窗格、门格、木雕、砖雕、铺路等的装饰图案,体现了地域性、民族性、人文等。中华民族的几千年文化形成也是装饰图案形成的过程,因此建筑装饰图案研究价值高。

Decorative pattern of dwellings in Jiangnan comes from many sources, which is applied in every part of dwellings, such as window, door frame, wood carving, brick carving, and paving et al. The pattern reflects the features of a region, culture, and nationality. Decorative pattern was formed with thousands of years of the Chinese nation culture; therefore the study of decorative pattern is meaningful.
