This essay using bolts and his open system theory as starting points to demonstrate the design value in his ＂Construction for thousands of people＂,and furthermore,to reveal the bottleneck that existing architecture theories are facing.Once this bottleneck is broken through,a new theory of architecture may emerge,which would restore the long-lost values of architecture and lead to a transformation of construction technology,spurring on the development of a new construction system that could push forward the revolution in the design organization and the producing mode.
