Lay a Solid Foundation for Promoting Vigor of the Communist Youth League

共青团十七大对增强团的自身建设、提升团的活力提出了新的要求。提升团组织活力的着力点是狠抓基层、贯彻"工作到支部,全团抓落实"的方针。当今特别需要从以下几个方面做出努力:高举理想信念的旗帜;密切联系青年、竭诚服务青年;维护青年的合法权益;开展适合青年特点的活动;为青年提供鲜活的学习榜样;增强团干部具有亲和感的人格魅力。我们必须坚持党建带团建,以改革创新精神加强团的自身建设,切实增强引领青年跟党走的凝聚力、青年对党的向心力、共青团的影响力。

New requirements were put forward on the Seventeen National Congress oi me Communist Youth League to enhance self-construction and vigor. The main focus for promoting vigor are seizing the community-level work and applying the policy of ＂carrying out the work in the branch and grasping the implementation throughly＂. We must make efforts from the following aspects; holding high the great banner of the ideal and conviction; furthering contacts to young pepole and serve them wholeheartedly; upholding the legal interests of youth; carrying out actions from characteristics of youth; creating alive role models; strengthening approachable charisma of League cadres. According to the report of the Seventeen National Congress of the Communist Youth League, new calls for League building were raised, we should organize and mobilize league members to devote themselves to China Dream. We must adhere to＂promoting League building by Party buiIding＂, apply the spirit of reform and innovation to strengthen League building, enhance the cohesiveness of guiding youth, centripetal forces of the Party and influence of the Communist Youth League.
