Deepening All-round Reforms and Strengthening the Construction of the Party

改革开放以来,中国的经济社会发展取得了巨大的成就,但随之也产生了许多新的问题,这些问题倒逼着中国掀起新一轮的改革浪潮。党的十八届三中全会通过了《中共中央关于全面深化改革若干重大问题的决定》,开始了全面深化改革的总体部署,并强调要进一步加强党的建设,以为改革开放和社会主义现代化建设提供坚强的政治保证。党的建设与全面深化改革紧密相连,全面深化改革对进一步加强党的建设提出了新的要求。

Since the reform and opening up, tremendous achievements have been made in China’s economic and social development. But at the same time, there occur many new problems, which force China to set off a new round of reforms. The Decision on Major Issues Concerning Comprehensively Deepening Reforms was adopted at the close of the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, starting the overall deployment of com-prehensively deepening reforms, and stressing the need to further strengthen the construction of the Party in order to provide a strong political guarantee for the reform and opening up and socialist modernization construction. The construction of the Party is closely linked to the comprehensive deepening of the reforms, which makes a new de-mand on further strengthening the construction of the Party.
