城市品位是一个城市的历史、地理、经济、建筑、人文传统、生态以及市民的文明程度、思维方式、行为习惯和社会心理的总和,是人们综合各要素给予城市的总体评价。从国际化的角度看,郑州的城市品位存在着城市规划和建设基础薄弱、起点低、市政公共设施陈旧且覆盖面不足、文化品质不够等问题,本文旨在探索提升郑州城市品位的思路和对策。

As a comprehensive overall assessment of a city, urban quality is a collage of multi - facet parame- ters including the city＇ s history, geography, economy, architecture, cultural traditions, ecology, as well as its de- gree of civilization, people＇s way of thinking, social behavior and social psychology. From a global perspective, some issues are raised in terms of the urban quality of Zhengzhou city, such as weak city planning and infrastructure from a lower base, outdated and inadequate coverage of public facilities, lack of civilization and so on. This paper aims at exploring ideas and countermeasures to enhance the urban quality of Zhengzhou city.
