AbstractAlthoughtheexport-orientedeconomicpolicyhasplayedapositiveroleonimproving China’seconomicopeningdegreeandaccelerating exportgrowth,ithasinduceddistortionofthedistributionmechanismofresources,andrestrictedthedevelop mentofdomestic -demand -orientedenterprises.Asaresult,theregionaldevelopmentdifferencehasbeenenlarged.Inordertorealizecoordinateddevelopment,theregionaleconomicpolicymustbeadjusted.Weshould pay moreattentiontoreducetheregionaldemanddifference,andimprovetheconsumptionde mandlevelofmid -westareas.Weshouldaggrandizeinvestmentininfrastructureinthemid -westareas,andgiveenergeticsup porttotheindustriesthatarebeneficialtotheimprovementofpeople’sincomeintheless -developedareas.Moreover,weshould givemoresupporttothemarketalizationreforminthemid
