基于非规则PU模式的HEVC视频编码方法

HEVC Video Coding Method Based on Irregular PU Modes

摘要 针对HEVC中矩形PU分块不能很好地对视频中具有复杂边界的运动物体进行运动估计的问题,提出了一种基于非规则PU模式的HEVC视频编码方法,最后为降低非规则PU模式判决过程的计算复杂度设计了一种快速算法。实验结果显示基于非规则PU模式的HEVC编码方式在编码时间上升37.26%的情况下,可以节省2.24%的码率,在加入快速算法之后,可以节省1.09%的码率,但编码时间只上升了10.91%。 As rectangular PU cannot work well to estimate the motion object with complex edge,an HEVC video coding method based on irregular PU modes is proposed,and a fast algorithm is proposed to reduce the high computational complexity of non-rectangular PU mode decision. The experiment results show that the proposed HEVC video coding method save 2. 24% of bitrates while coding time increase by 37. 26% and save 1. 09% of bitrates while coding time increase by only 10. 91% after the proposed fast algorithm is adopted.
