艺体类大学生英语学习的“怪圈”及对策探析

摘要 中学阶段忙于专业训练,加上应试教育体系下学生和教师的急功近利,使得艺体类学生放弃了英语学习,但是到了大学阶段,他们突然发现大学英语课程成了他们课时最多、学分最高、考试最多的公共课程。对于很多艺体类大学生来说,要想有更好的发展和前途,考研深造是最佳选择,而英语差又成了制约他们通过研究生入学考试的瓶颈。这一艺体类大学生英语学习的"怪圈"值得所有教育者特别是教育主管部门的警醒。加强人文关怀,选用合适教材,实行形成性评价,进行分级教学能很好地提高艺体类大学生学习英语的积极性,提高教学效果。 Many Art college students give up English learning because they are busy with their profes-sional preparation while they are in high school.But after having been enrolled in the college,they sud-denly realize that English becomes the public course with most classes,highest credits and most tests. Furthering their study by taking part in the postgraduate entrance examination is the best option for the Art students who want to have a promising future.But the poor performance in English study prevents them from passing the exam.All the educators and related administrator should be alert to the strange phenomenon.Strengthening humane care,selecting appropriate textbooks,implementing formative as-sessment and carrying out grade teaching can enhance their enthusiasm of learning English and promote the teaching effect significantly.
