Under the background of the integration of culture and technology, the E-Generation who are obsessed with new media technologies have been creating diversity of new patterns of subculture. On the other hand, they are also facing many serious problems such as infatuation with technology and culture mores get lost. Based on this background, the essay reflects on the relationship between culture and technology, puts forward the principles of the new media literacy education to transform the E-Generation into responsible and creative citizens in digital era.
