摘要
中国在公元607年建立了世界上最早、最完备的"公务员考试制度"即"科举制"。自隋朝以来,历代封建王朝均通过这一考试制度为国家选拔官吏。实行科举制的目的在于鼓励更多的读书人"学而优则仕"。当今的公务员考试是国家部、委、署、总局招考国家机关工作人员的一种方式,它不可避免地与科举制度存在内在联系。我们应从1300多年的科举制度上取精华、去糟粕,以便更好地完善我国公务员考试制度。
The imperial examination system had been a system of Chinese feudal dynasties to select officials for the state by passing the exam since the Sui Dynasty, aiming to encourage more intellectuals who excel in study to follow an official career. It is worth mentioning that China established the worldg earliest and most comprehensive civil service examination system in 605 A. D. ,i. e. imperial exami- nation system. This article explores the developmental process of the imperial examination system, analyzes the inner link between the imperial examination system and the civil service examination system and attempts to learn from the thirteen hundred years of experience so as to improve our civil examination system today.
