On Suona Horn Art of Central China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties

明清时期是我国唢呐艺术发展的一个重要时期。自这一时期起,唢呐艺术得以迅速发展,主要表现在史料记载的丰富、唢呐曲目的流传保存、唢呐在宫廷音乐和民间音乐的广泛运用等方面。这一时期,唢呐在军乐、宫廷仪礼音乐、宫廷宴飨音乐、戏曲及歌舞音乐、民俗音乐等方面都有运用的史料记载,并且通过研究相关史料可发现,唢呐在各个领域的运用呈现出不同的特点。

The Ming and Qing dynasties are very important for the development of suona horn art. Suona horn art de- veloped rapidly in this period according to the abundance of historical materials, the preserving of suona horn art music and wide application of suona horn both in court music and folk music. There are historical materials of the application of suona horn art in army music, the court etiquette music, the court banquet music, traditional Chinese opera and folk music. There are different characteristics of suona horn art in different fields by a research on relevant materials.
