With the development of new energy （ wind power, solar power）, telecommunication and electric locomotive industries, the application of DC technology and DC power distribution network is paid more and more attention to, especially for the selection, installation and application of low voltage circuit breaker in AC/DC occasions. This paper mainly introduced the characteristics and requirement of circuit breaker used in DC occasion, and the difference between DC and AC application occasions.
