论明代文化管制的失控——以西湖小说为例

明代文化政策对西湖小说管制的失控当缘于多方面的原因,如社会思潮变化、士人审美趣味转向、小说自身发展规律、当政者的行为引导、政权运作体系坏损,等等。若就对朝廷的政权运作而言,西湖小说裹挟的这些违禁内容于朱明王朝的治化不利,若就西湖小说本身的发展而言,则有利于其丰富和多元,值得肯定。
