This paper sums up the latest advance of the publication of China＇s literatures and books, and compares with the situation of some main countries. During the recent ten years or so, the proportion of the publication of China＇s literatures and books has increased from 2% to 11% of that of the whole world, which makes China have surpassed most of the countries in the field of literature publication, and close to the America. In the future development, China＇s libraries need supply more high-quality information resources on science,technology and humanities for scholars,and create opportunities for them to get new achievements with world＇ s advanced level.
