The early childhood reading can improve children＇s reading ability and develop good reading habits. As a cultural heritage institution, the public library should promote early childhood reading, develop and strengthen children＇s early reading habits, this is one of the important duties of the public library. This paper expounds the current situation of children＇ s reading in China, and puts forward some strategies for the public library to promote children＇ s early reading.
