The public library has become an important position of promoting children＇ s reading with its unique and rich resources. This paper makes deep analysis on the current situation of Chinese children＇ s reading, lists some typical cases in children＇s reading promotion activities held by domestic and foreign libraries, and puts forward some service measures for public libraries to carry out children＇s reading promotion activities in order to make each child love reading and become a person with rich knowledge and self-restraint.
