伊壁鸠鲁对马克思的哲学影响可以在马克思的博士论文中直接看到。不过,在马克思哲学发展中,这种影响并未消失,而是深化成了隐而不显的思想元素之一。马克思之所以能独具慧眼地从《精神现象学》入手批判黑格尔的整个哲学体系,正是得益于伊壁鸠鲁主义。马克思走向经济学批判从某种意义上看是其博士论文的思想延续。此外,伊壁鸠鲁主义中的"花园"式理想世界与内在自由思想,都可以侧面说明马克思的共产主义理想图景的某些特征。凡此种种,都值得关心古今之争的学者们继续探究。

Epicurus＇ influence on Marxist philosophy can be seen directly in his dissertation. Howev- er this influence does not disappear in the development of his philosophy, but becomes an unseen but deeply latent element. The reason why Marx can uniquely criticizes Hegelian philosophical sys- tem from the perspective of Phenomenology of Spirit results from Epicurus. The economic turn of Marxism in a sense is the continuation of his dissertation. Besides, the ＂garden-like＂ ideal world and innate thought of freedom of Epicurus can both show some characteristics of the communist ide- al in Marxism. Therefore all these are worthy the exploration of scholars who are interested in thedispute of the ancient and present.
