Economic Exploration into American “Currency Power”

美国货币权力不只是一个法律范畴,也是一个极为重要的经济学范畴,美国货币权力的形成、模式选择与机制塑造经历了一个复杂、曲折的历史过程,充分反映了美国市场经济体制构建的过程和联邦与地方经济权力的配置过程。美国货币权力的扩张,一方面是从实体经济的价值衡量与信用功能延伸到虚拟经济中的交易与获利功能;另一方面,美国货币权力跨越国境成为影响他国经济、区域经济和世界经济的无形之手。

American currency power does not only belong to a legal field, but also an important eco- nomic field. The formation, choice of pattern and shaping of mechanism of American currency power experience a complicated and winding historical process, which reflects the construction process of American market economy and the deployment of federal and local economic power. The expansion of American currency power extends from the value judgment and credit function of substantial econo- my to the trade and profit function of a virtual economy on the one hand; on the other hand, Ameri- can currency power cuts across borders to become the invisible hand to influence economics of other country, regional economy and global economy.
