基于网络自主学习的英语语言学课程教改探索

A Study of the Teaching Reform of English Linguistics Based on Autonomous Learning via Internet

英语语言学作为高校英语专业必修课程之一,对于培养学生的英语语言能力起着重要的作用。本文基于多年的英语语言学教学实践与对某大学2008级和2009级128名学生学习英语语言学的调查分析基础上,发现传统教学模式下英语语言学教学存在的问题,建议对英语语言学课程的教学方式进行改革。随着信息技术的发展和改进,现代教学已经广泛采用多媒体和网络等教学资源,为英语语言学学习者提供了自主学习的高度可能性。本文大力提倡学生利用网络自主学习英语语言学来促进英语语言学课程教学方法的改革,从而提高课程教学的效果,对未来我国语言学方法论的建设也将起到一定的促进作用。

English linguistics is one of the important compulsory courses for English majors to improve their language ability. The paper, based on the linguistics study questionnaires from 128 college students, analyzes the problems of current English linguistics teaching, and then, proposes the teaching reform. Multi media technology and Internet provide great possibilities of learner autonomy for students in their English linguistics study. The paper advocates autonomous learning by using lnternet re- sources so as to promote the teaching reform and the use of paper methods in English linguistics study.
