The cross girder hoisting construction process of first-arch second- girder tied-arch bridge was described through a project example. The hoisting process determination, construction process, operation points and obtained benefits were de- scribed in detail. The practice proves that, the hoisting process breaks through the tra- ditional hoisting method of tied-arch bridge, providing an advanced method for cross girder hoisting construction of tied-arch bridge with safety, reliability, short construc- tion period and low cost.
