In Seattle which is the biggest school community in the State of Washington, the principles and contents of the 21st Century and Skill have been embedded into the Washington State Common Core Standards, and have promoted the reform of curriculum, assessment and teacher professional development. This paper focuses on the policy framework of how to incorporate the 21 st Century Skill as well as Common Core Standards into actual learning, teaching and building of school leadership.
