学校的矿物加工专业是在原选煤专业基础上发展起来的,矿物加工机械是矿物加工过程中物料的载体,是矿物加工过程中不可分割的重要组成部分。20世纪80年代以来,选煤大型重要机械设备经历了国产、进口技术国产化和设备整机进口的过程;这些先进的进口设备正在我国起着重要的积极作用,与过去相比较,这些机械设备性能好、结构合理、理论先进。随着选煤时代的发展与进步,"矿物加工机械"课程的教学迫切需要进行改革与探讨。

The major of mineral processing is derived from the major of coal preparation in China University of Mining and Technology（Beijing）, and mineral processing machinery is the carrier of materials and is also an important component in the process of the mineral processing. Since the 1980s, in the coal industry,large equipments experienced different periods of domestically produced machinery, domestically produced machine with imported technology and whole machinery imported. The advanced imported equipments play an important positive role in our country. Compared with the past, the imported equipments bear good performance, reasonable structure, and advanced theory. With the development and progress of coal preparation, the teaching of＂ mineral processing machinery＂ urgently calls for discussions and reforms.
