马来人特权是马来西亚国家形成过程中的历史、种族、殖民统治和外来移民等诸种因素以及各派政治势力相互博弈的结果。实际上是以一种不合理的方式维持着马来西亚社会、政治和经济领域方面不同种族群体的利益平衡。因此,在社会发展还没有更好的替代方式之前,这种现象在马来西亚还会长期存在。终止马来人特权势必是一个长期而复杂的过程,在目前形势尚不明朗的情况下,欲下定论恐怕还为时尚早。

The Malay privileges is the result from the process of founding modern Malay state, in which many forces played their roles such as history, races, colony rule and immigrates. It makes a balance in diverse Malay society through this is not reasonable in the open. It is believed to be a long-term and extremely twisted process and, it is still too early to make any prediction regarding its development at present sta^e.
