This paper analyzes the relationship between the socialist core values and the economic development, it points out that economic development is the first will of rejuvenating the country and the driving force for the development of socialism. We have to strengthen further the propaganda of socialist core values, to enhance the identity, to develop institutionalization, resist all kinds of anti- Marxist social ideological trend, the construction of more standardized and orderly socialist market economic system is the basic ways of developing socialist core values and economic development.
