Objective : To investigate the fluorescence quantitative PCR in detection of sexually transmitted diseases ( FQ - PCR) method was used to detect the effect of. Methods: 40 cases of 190 cases of patients with venereal disease detection and healthy con- trols, using FQ - PCR method, the detection results of the detection results are compared with the other methods, the clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. Results : All specimens by culture method, the conventional PCR and FQ - PCR were UU, CT, NG, and 40 healthy cases were negative. In 190 patients with three detection results were: Culture: UU 77 cases, CT 54 cases, NG79 cases; con- ventional PCR: UU 78 eases, CT 58 eases, FQ-PCR: UU 87 cases, NG8I cases; CT 67 cases, NG91 eases. FQ- PCR is better than that of culture for the detection method and the conventional PCR, the difference was statistically significant ( P 〈 O. 05 ). The FQ - PCR method for UU, CT, NG detection sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive values were significantly higher than that of culture for the detection method and the conventional PCR, the difference was statistically significant ( P 〈 O. 05 ). Conclu- sions : Compared with the culture method and the conventional PCR method, FQ - PCR method to overcome its shortcomings, features in STD detection can achieve low pollution, high accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, has important value in laboratory diagnosis.
