学科领域交叉性及对其测度的Φ指标——以我国科学学研究领域为例 被引量:15

A New Φ Indicator for Measuring the Interdisciplinarity of Scientific Research:A Case Study in Science of Science Research in China

摘要 科学研究中的多领域交叉融合特征通常称被为领域交叉性。领域交叉性是一种由多种要素属性复合而成的复杂性质,但已有的领域交叉性指标缺乏对这些要素属性的全面考虑。在扩展Stirling多样性指标公式基础上,创建了综合各要素属性以定量刻画领域交叉性的Φ指标。通过1997—2012年我国科学学研究类(science of science research,SSR)4种代表性期刊载文的中图分类号数据,运用Φ指标分析了SSR领域交叉性的发展变化,发现总体而言近16年来我国SSR的领域交叉性日益显著。 The characteristic of the knowledge integration of multiple disciplines in scientific research is often re-ferred to as interdisciplinarity, which is a complex synthesis of several certain attributes. The existing indicators or metrics of interdisicplinarity are lack of a comprehensive consideration for all these attributes. Expanding Stirling's formula of diversity, a Φ indicator for quantitatively analyzing interdisciplinarity is proposed. Applying the Φ in-dicator to the data set consisted of Chinese Library Classification codes in the articles published on 4 representa-tive journals of science of science research (SSR) in China from 1997 to 2012, it is found that the interdisciplin-arity of Chinese SSR has been more and more significant on the whole during recent 16-year period. Process and conclusions of the research provide some references for the development of SSR, and manifest the comprehensive-ness and effectiveness of the Φ indicator to certain extent.
