研究型大学学生眼中的中外合作办学——以厦门大学为例

Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education from the Perspective of Students in Research Universities——With Xiamen University as an Example

中外合作办学在引进国外优质教育资源,促进我国高等教育发展上具有重要意义。为了了解厦门大学本科各专业学生对中外合作办学的认识,笔者对200名厦门大学学生进行问卷调查。调查发现,大多数学生对学校高等教育的国际化并不是很满意,他们对中外合作办学的认识比较局限。之所以出现这种情况,笔者认为有三方面原因:学校宣传力度不够,学生咨询渠道不畅;中外合作办学质量有待提高,社会关注度不够;学生自身能力欠缺,国际化意识淡薄。因此,笔者提出相应建议:学校应尽可能地通过多种方式提高学生对中外合作办学的认识;提高中外合作办学的质量,获得更多的社会支持;学生应加强自身能力的提高,争做国际化人才。

Sino-foreign cooperative education has significance in introducing excellent education- al resources abroad and promoting the development of higher education.In order to know the views about Sino-foreign cooperative education of students of different majors in Xiamen Uni- versity,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 200 students.The survey reveals that the majority of students are not satisfied with the internationalization of higher education and their knowledge on Sino-foreign cooperative education is limited.As for the results,three possible reasons are summarized as follows： publicity is far from enough and students＇ counseling chan- nels are sluggish; the quality of Sino-foreign cooperative education needs to be improved,and its social concern is insufficient; students lack capacity,and their consciousness of internationali- zation needs to be strengthened.In this regard,recommendations are： firstly,universities should enhance students＇ understanding of Sino-foreign cooperative education as far as possible through a variety of ways; secondly,it＇s necessary to improve the quality of Sino-foreign coop- erative education,getting more social support; and,last but not least,students should strength- en their capacities to become international talents.
