The characteristic of singularity functions was introduced. By use of singularity functions, a new analyzing model of vertical member in structural analysis of high rise buildings was established, and the matrix equation was also presented. The fundamental characteristics and significance of matrix equation were discussed. Finally, an application example of analyzing model was summarized.
