成人高校教师科研现状与需求分析

An Analysis of Present Situation and Teachers' Demands of Academic Research in Institutions of Adult Higher Learning

高校教师科研具有必要性和重要性,但成人高校教师远没有将科研提高到与教学并重的地位,科研成了成人高校教师的传统弱项。本文通过问卷调查和个别访谈对成人高校教师的科研定位、科研困境、科研诉求进行分析,深入剖析制约成人高校教师科研发展的因素,调查教师们的科研需求,从学校和教师个人角度阐述一些有效建议。

Academic research is of great necessity and importance for college teachers. However, in Chinese institutions of adult higher learning, it is quite common that teachers pay much less attention to academic research than to teaching, which turns academic research into their traditional weakness. To probe into this issue, this paper analyzes teachers' attitudes, difficulties and demands by using questionnaires and faceto-face interviews. Then it carries out a profound exploration of bottleneck factors in teachers' academic research and academic research demands from two perspectives: what can the institutions of adult higherlearning do and what can the teachers do. Finally, the paper puts forward some practical suggestions.
