运用框架理论和五行理论对《红楼梦》人体词多版本翻译的质疑

The Questioning of Different Versions of Body Terms in A Dream of Red Mansions from the Perspective of the Theory of Frame Semantics and the Five Elements Theory

翻译活动不仅是两种语言之间的交流,更是两种文化之间的交流,在翻译过程中如何有效地避免源语的语义流失和语义误译而实现语义和语用信息最自然的等值是翻译过程中很重要的问题。本文利用框架语义理论、五行学说及隐喻和转喻理论对《红楼梦》人体词多版本的翻译提出了质疑,希望能引起同行的兴趣和进一步的研究。

Translation is not only the communication between two languages, but also the communication between two cultures. How to effectively avoid the semantic loss and semantic mistranslation of the source language to realize the most natural semantic and pragmatic equivalent is a very important topic in the process of translation. This paper questioned the different versions of translation of body terms in the Chinese famous book A Dream of Red Mansions by using the theory of frame semantics, the five elements theory and the theory of metaphor and metonymy. In addition, this paper has put forward some solutions to improve translation, hoping to arouse the interest and further studies of other scholars.
