An Analysis of Urban- Rural Dual Structure and the Urbanization Development from the Inframarginal Perspective

本文将城乡二元结构和城镇化发展统一置于新兴古典经济学的基本框架下,运用超边际分析方法研究城乡二元结构的产生,认为城乡二元结构产生的根本原因在于城乡之间交易效率的差距。因此,以中小城镇为主体的城镇化发展能够充分发挥中小城镇在城乡联系中的关键节点作用,促进城乡生产要素的双向流动,这对提高城乡之间交易效率、破解城乡二元结构具有重要意义。

The paper puts the urban -rural dual structure and the urbanization development under the basic framework of new classical economics , studies the production of urban -rural dual structure by using the method of inframarginal analytical method and draws a conclusion that the fundamental cause of the production of urban -rural dual structure is the transaction efficiency gap between rural and urban areas .So this paper argues that the urbanization development with the medium and small-sized towns as the mainstay can make full use of the key nodes of medium and small -sized towns in contacting urban and rural areas , and promote bidirectional flow of factors of production between urban and rural areas.It is of great significance to improve the efficiency of transactions between rural and urban areas and to break the urban-rural dual structure .
