IL-9 and Autoimmune Skin Disease: Research Review

已知的CD4+T细胞亚群,包括I型辅助性T细胞(helper T cells 1,Th1),Th2,Thl7和调节性T细胞(regulatory T cells,Tregs),它们之间存在微妙的调节网络,维持机体的免疫平衡。Th9细胞是最近发现的CD4+T细胞亚群,它的发现使人们对CD4+T细胞亚群在炎症性疾病中的作用有了新的认识,Th9细胞主要分泌IL-9发挥生物学效应,IL-9具有多效性,能使得炎症细胞的数量上升并分泌一些炎症介质,促进炎症的发生,同时IL-9还可通过Treg细胞发挥免疫调节功能,因此在免疫系统中具有多效性,但它的生物学作用仍然需要深入研究。目前研究表明,它参与系统性红斑狼疮、特应性皮炎、银屑病、黑素瘤等免疫相关性皮肤病的病理过程,因此对IL-9及Th9细胞的深入研究,将有助于阐明免疫性皮肤病的病理机制,并有可能成为某些免疫性皮肤病的免疫学治疗的另一个新的靶点或方法。

Helper T cells 1 （ Thl ）, Th2, Thl7 and regulatory T cells （ Tregs ） are important members of helper CD4 ＋ T cells, which participate in immunologic derangement or regulation. Th9 is a new recently discovered subset of CD4 ＋ T ceils and secretes large quantities of IL-9. IL-9 is pleiotropic, which not only has the function of increasing the number of inflammatory cells and inflammatory mediators to promote inflammation, but also has the function of immunologic regulation through Tregs. However its biological effect still need further study. Updated study show that Th9 or IL-9 plays an important role in systemic lupus erythematosus （ SLE）, atopic dermatitis （ AD）, psoriasis, melanoma and maybe other autoimmune skin diseases. So the study of Th9 or IL-9 will help to clarify the pathogenesis of some autoimmune skin diseases, and breakthrough poten- tially to treatment of some autoimmune skin diseases.
