当你畅游展览的时候，面对一件又一件展品，你会有什么样的感觉。虽然你对这幅展品的创作背景知之甚少，甚至不知道作者在创作的时候运用的是什么手法。但是，当你矗立在它面前的时候，你的内心会产生一种微妙的变化，或震撼，或遐想，或感动，或沉思……诚然，观者通过展品让心去了未曾到过的远方，这是展品的魅力所在，也是展览的魅力所在。
Exhibitions are familiar to Yantai people. Not only Yantai Mass Art Center holds many exhibitions annually, but also each district holds kinds of exhibitions. Some citizens even hold their own exhibitions. To some extent, Yantai people are ＂crazy＂ about exhibitions. In 1861, Yantai was opened to the outside world. Since then, different cultures have collided and blended here, making Yantai people develop fine aesthetic taste.
