The Causes of Khedrup Je Converting to Tsongkhapa

克珠杰在藏传佛教史上被称为"一世班禅额尔德尼"。然而,他早年却是萨迦派的僧人,后来由于各种机缘使他转投在宗喀巴的门下,最终成为宗喀巴的第二大弟子。

Khedrup Je was reputed to be the first Panchen Lama in the history of Tibetan Buddhism. However, he was ever a monk of Sakya Sect in his early years, and then he became the second student of Tsongkhapa after he took refuge to Tsongkhapa by chance.
