Internet Governance Diplomacy: Concept, Development, and China's Strategic Choice

摘要互联网技术不仅为外交活动提供了新的交流与沟通渠道,也为外交实践带来了新的战略目标。由此,本文区分了网络治理外交与网络公共外交两种新模式,并着重分析了网络治理外交的基本特点和发展态势。在此基础上,本文提出了中国进一步发展网络治理外交的战略对策。 Information technologies have not only provided new communicative channels for diplomatic activities, but also established new diplomatic objectives. Against this backdrop, this paper distinguishes between two relevant notions - Internet governance diplomacy and Internet public diplomacy, and analyzes the basic features and developing trends of the former. Based on these discussions, this paper further identifies the strategic choice of promoting China＇ s Internet governance diplomacy.
