Research Progress on Beef Cattle Welfare

现代肉牛产业以集约化生产为特征,产业链较长,由此带来的一系列肉牛福利问题,备受关注。本文详细阐述了肉牛营养福利、环境福利、管理福利、运输福利和屠宰福利等的研究进展,根据不同肉牛体重大小及养殖规模,综述了肉牛福利标准,为我国肉牛福利标准的制定及肉牛健康养殖提供参考。

Characterized by intensive production, modern beef industry has a long industrial chain, re- sulting in a series of beef cattle welfare issues, which have attracted more and more attention. This paper described the progress of beef cattle welfare in feeding, management, transport and slaughter process in details, summarized the beef cattle welfare standards according to the different body weight and breeding scale, thus providing a reference for Chinese beef cattle welfare standards and beef cattle health culture.
